For those of you who know Carly, you know how serious she takes her work as a photographer. When she is on a shoot, there is nothing that can distract her from the task at hand and getting that one perfect shot she’s always looking for. Well, except for that one time…
About the Bride
Carly and I met in high school during a photography class. She quickly took to it and it wasn’t hard for me to believe that she chose it for a profession after high school. Not only did she love every bit of it, but she always had such a good eye for it. Our teacher was always impressed with her work and I do have to admit that if it wasn’t for her I may not have passed the class… So when she called to tell me that she met someone special on a shoot, I really wasn’t surprised.
About the Relationship
One of Carly’s favorite shoots to do is weddings. She always talks about how she loves capturing the perfect photos on someone’s special day. Even though there is a lot of pressure because you can never shoot it again and there is little room for mistakes, she thrives on the pressure. The only thing she has ever complained about were the times when people would want to talk ‘shop’ with her in the middle of the wedding, not realizing how valuable every minute was to her. But all of that changed a couple of years ago when she met Jacob. Jacob was the best man at his brother’s wedding and during the family and wedding party photos he was doing everything in his power to get her attention. As I recall, she told me how annoying he was until she finally took the time to really look at him. From that moment on, she only hoped he would continue to annoy her.
Conclusion
As you can all see, her hopes came true! Carly and Jacob hit it off right away and we are all so glad to have such a fun, loving, caring man in our midst. Here's to the bride and groom!
